Shoft is well known in the industry for the manufacture of quality ship outfitting products. The name Shoft is in fact derived from ‘ship outfit’, an activity that contributed significantly to the company’s early growth and development.
Most of the production is done at the Thane workshop which is in the process of being relocated, redesigned and upgraded to manufacture a wider and more sophisticated range of marine and non marine equipments.
Specialty engineering
The Shoft Industries is gearing itself to enter the field of precision machining and fabrication.. It will soon have in house skills, machineries and equipments to do specialized, highly skilled jobs such as components for submarine fabrication.
Standard products
The workshop currently manufactures ship outfitting products such as watertight doors, windows, manholes and hatch covers, rudder and rudder stock, stern gear, winches and miscellaneous deck fittings.
